Pressure regulator



Do not disassemble the pressure regulator. It is ideally distributes the fluid pressure between the front and rear brakes to avoid locking of the rear wheels and improve the effectiveness of the brakes.

Check the operation of the pressure regulator
Connect two pressure gauges - one for the front side, the other - to the output side of the pressure regulator.

A WARNING
After connecting gauges remove air from a hydraulic drive of the brake system.

Pressing the brake pedal, measure the inlet and outlet pressure. If the measured values are within the allowable range (Fig. 6.30), then the pressure regulator defective.
Connect the brake lines on the old place and remove air from a hydraulic drive of the brake system.
Install the brake master cylinder.
Tighten the union nut and remove the air from a hydraulic drive of brake system.
Tightening torques:
- The brake pipe nut - 13-17 Nm;
- Nuts pressure regulator - 35-55 Nm.
