Removal, check and installation of the exhaust manifold

Remove thermofilter exhaust manifold (Fig. 2.89).

Unscrew the nuts and remove exhaust manifold.

Remove the exhaust manifold gasket.

Check exhaust manifold for damage or cracks.

Metal ruler and probe in several directions, measure the flatness of the mating surfaces of the exhaust manifold (Fig. 2.90). If the flatness exceeds the norm, replace the exhaust manifold.

Flatness - 0.15-0.3 mm.

Install the exhaust manifold with the new gasket and tighten nuts to 25-30 Nm.

Set thermofilter exhaust manifold.
