Removing and installing transmission



Major faults, for which elimination is necessary to remove the gearbox from the car:
- Increased (compared to usual) noise;
- Difficulty in shifting gears;
- Spontaneous shutdown or a fuzzy inclusion programs;
- Oil leakage through the seals and gaskets.
In addition, the gearbox is removed to replace the clutch, the front bearing mainshaft gearbox, flywheel.

HELPFUL HINTS
Work on the removal and installation of transmission is very labor intensive, so be sure first that her faults are not caused by other reasons (lack of oil, defects in the drive clutch, the weakening of mounting box, etc.).
Transmission pretty heavy and bulky, so remove it from the assistant.

You will need: keys "to 10", "12", "14", "17", screwdriver flat blade mandrel.
1. Put the vehicle on a lift or pit.
2. Disconnect the wire from terminal "-" the battery and remove the battery (see "Removing and replacing the battery" ).

4. Disconnect the wiring harness wires from the sensor top dead center and the frequency of rotation of the crankshaft (see "Replacing the sensors engine management system" ).
5. Disconnect the wiring harness wires from the speed sensor (see "Replacing the sensors engine management system" ).
6. Remove the starter (see "Removing and replacing the starter" ).

7. Loosen the nuts bolts fastening the left supports the powertrain, remove the bolt to left support to the bracket on the body and insert the bolt into place a mandrel of suitable size (see "Replacing the bearings suspension of the power unit" ).
8. Disconnect from the traction drive transmission gear (see "Replacing the rod drive transmission control" ).
9. Drain the oil from the gearbox (see "Replacing oil in the gearbox" ).
10. Disconnect from the gearbox drives the front wheels (see "Removing and installing front wheel drive" ).
11. Remove the gearbox clutch slave cylinder is not disconnected from the pipeline (see "Replacing slave cylinder hydraulic clutch" ).

24. ... Loosen the nut bearing to the gearbox and remove the left suspension support powertrain.
25. Slide the gear box to the left, remove the prop from under the gearbox and remove it.

WARNING
When removing the gearbox do not lean end of the primary shaft of the petals of a diaphragm spring, so as not to deform them.

26. Set the gearbox in reverse order of removal.

HINT
Before installing the gearbox, apply a thin layer of grease on the slotted part of the primary shaft.

27. Pour the oil into the gearbox (see "Replacing oil in the gearbox" ).
