Check electrical equipment
1. Check whether the interrupted alternator drive belt. If there is a break, replace the belt and adjust its tension (see. "Replacing the alternator drive belt and a water pump").
2. If the belt is intact, check and if necessary adjust its tension (see. "Check and adjust belt drive generator and water pump").

3. If, after belt warning light is still off, check the wires connected to the "plus" terminal of the battery ...
4. ... and to the generator. The wires can be torn off, broken inside the insulation or oxidised or unreliable contacts. Repair and start up the engine. If you see a charge current, it is possible to continue the movement.
5. If the measures taken after the warning light discharge the battery continues to burn with the engine running, the vehicle must be towed to repair the generator set.
