Check wheels

You will need: a pressure gauge, pump calliper.

RECOMMENDATION
Periodically check the tire pressure. High or low blood pressure leads to premature tire wear, poor handling and vehicle stability.

Check wheels
In the doorway of the driver's label indicating the tire pressure.

Fig. 4.1. The scheme of shift of wheels

We recommend using a foot pump with built-in pressure gauge. To tires wear evenly every 15 000 km (at the next maintenance) swap the wheel according to the scheme in Fig. 4.1. After the first 15 000 km and then after every 30 000 km balancing wheels and check wheel alignment. Please contact the service workshop.

WARNINGS
All repair wire wheels in specialized workshops.
Make sure the wheel is balanced after repair.
Operation with worn tread tires can lead to accidents.

Check wheels
Check wheels
1. Remove the cap from the valve.
2. Check the air pressure in the tire. To do this, reset the gauge to zero by pressing a special button on the pressure gauge ...

3. ... connect the gauge to the valve and push the tip of the gauge.
4. If the pressure is less than desired, connect the hose to the valve and pump up the air by controlling the pressure on the pressure gauge.
Check wheels
5. If the pressure is greater than desired, push a special projection gauge on the valve tip and let the air out of the tire. Measure the pressure gauge. By repeating these operations, bring the pressure back to normal.
NOTE
Check wheels
It looks like a special projection gauge to vent air from the tire.

6. If you notice that tire pressure is constantly falling, try to tightly wrap the spool by a cap with the key.

NOTE
Check wheels
It looks like the cap 1 with a key to tighten the valve 2.
A WARNING
To avoid contamination of spools not operate the vehicle without protective caps. If the cap have been lost, be sure to install new ones.

Check wheels
To check the tightness of the valve, the valve hole wet. If there is an exhaust air bubbles, replace the valve.

7. Measure caliper residual tread depth. If the tread depth of 1.6 mm or less, replace the tire.
8. If you do not have calipers, tread depth can be checked visually by the tire wear indicators in the form of continuous transverse stripes that appear on the tread at its maximum wear.

NOTE
Check wheels
The location indicators marked on the sidewall of a triangle or the abbreviation ?TWI? (depending on what type of notation used tire manufacturer).

Check wheels
9. Check the tightness of wheel nuts and tighten them if necessary torque 88-108 Nm.
