Replacing the drive belt power steering pump and air conditioning compressor



You will need a key "14".
1. Loosen the bolts securing the power steering pump (see. "Replacing the power steering pump").

2. Turn the adjustment bolt to loosen the belt tension (see. "Check and adjust belt drives the air conditioning compressor and the power steering pump") ...
3. ... and remove the belt from the pulley power steering pump, air conditioning compressor and the crankshaft pulley.
4. Install the drive belt power steering pump and air conditioning compressor in the reverse order of removal.

HELPFUL ADVICE
If a new belt is worn tightly on the pulley of the pump, and the pump is moved while the way to the engine, carefully turn the pulley by hand or pump slowly turn the crankshaft to complete putting the belt on the pulley. Turn the crankshaft have an assistant.
