Removing and installing thermostat



Remove the plug hole plate.
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Drain the engine coolant.
Remove the drive belt.
Remove the washer reservoir.
Remove the power steering pump.

NOTE
Remove the power steering pump without disconnecting the hoses and tubes.

Release hose clamp, remove the bypass hose and lower the thermostat.
Remove the thermostat housing.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
Again fill the engine coolant.
Check for coolant leaks.
