The combined dynamic stability control sensor

The sensor yaw rate sensor and a lateral overload combined.
The combined sensor is mounted on the left side of the parking brake lever (models with left-hand drive) or on the right side of the parking brake lever (models with right-hand steering) and determines the yaw rate (angular speed of the car in a turn) and longitudinal acceleration. The sensor transmits a signal to the DSC HU / CM.
The output voltage of the combined sensor in 2.5 when the vehicle is stationary) varies in accordance with the yaw rate and the magnitude of the longitudinal acceleration.
Yaw rate is determined when the sensor detects the Coriolis force proportional to the speed of rotation.
The value of the longitudinal acceleration is detected when the sensor detects the inertial force proportional longitudinal acceleration acting on the silicon sensor.

NOTE
The Coriolis force.
When an object is located on the rotating disk, moves towards the center, generates a force directed at right angles to the path of movement of the object.
This leads to the fact that the direction of movement of the object remains constant relative to the point of departure, and the object does not reach the center.
This force, deflecting an object from the center, called the Coriolis force, and the actual movement of the object is straightforward.
