Check the clearance in the front hub bearing



Remove the front wheel.
Disconnect the left front caliper disc brake.
Remove the front drive.

Check the clearance in the front hub bearing

Set the dial gauge against the hub (Fig. 3.100).
By moving the wheel hub by hand in the axial direction, measure the clearance in the bearing hub.
Maximum: 0.05 mm.
If the clearance exceeds the maximum, replace the bearing.
