Installing the special tool to hold the side gears

Installation on the connecting shaft of the new clip

Install new connecting shaft clamp slot upward. Make sure that the diameter of the clamp is not too high (Fig. 3.143).
After installation, measure the outer diameter.
If it differs from the norm, repeat installation using a new clip.
Maximum outer diameter: 31.2 mm.
Insert the drive shaft into the wheel hub.

Apply gear oil to the oil seal lip (Fig. 3.144).
Insert the drive shaft in the gearbox.
After installation, pull the body of the internal hinge upon themselves to make sure of reliability of fixing the drive shaft.
The installation of the remaining components are in reverse order.
