Setting



Sets the dynamic damper

Install the dynamic damper, as shown in Figure 3.152.
Standard Length: 334,7-340,7 mm.
Install the new clamp cover a dynamic damper.

Install the new rotor sensor anti-lock brake system on the drive shaft and press them it using special devices (Fig. 3.153).
Fill the boot (wheel side) with grease.

NOTE
Covers and Wheel Side Transmission different.

ATTENTION
Do not touch the grease hands. Apply grease from the tube, do not let pollution into the case.
Grease quantity: 90-110 g

Install the cover without removing the tape, which was wrapped splined shaft during disassembly.
Remove the tape.

Align the labels put at removal and set the tripod, using a rod and a hammer (Fig. 3.154).
Install new retaining ring, using pliers for removing and installing the retaining rings.

ATTENTION
Make sure that the lock ring established in the shaft groove.

Fill the joint housing and cover (Transmission) with grease.
Grease quantity: 195-215 g
Refit the hinge.
Set the standard length of the drive shaft.

Let the air out of the case by lifting the edge of the smaller end covers with a screwdriver wrapped with a cloth (Fig. 3.155).

ATTENTION
Do not leak grease. Do not damage the covers.

Make sure that the length of the drive shaft - within limits.
Bend the clamp in a direction opposite to the direction of rotation of the drive shaft when the vehicle is moving forward, and, using pliers, tighten the clamp.

Lock the end of the clip by bending the locking clips (Fig. 3.156).

ATTENTION
Securely mount the clamp in the groove.

Adjust the gap A

the rotation of the adjusting bolt special tool (Fig. 3.157).
A gap: 2.9 mm.
Squeeze a small clamp cover from the wheel, using a special device. Check that the gap in

If the gap is greater in the rules, reduce the gap of a special device and then squeeze the cover.
If the gap in less than normal, replace the clamp cover, increase the clearance of a special device and tighten the new case.
The gap: 2.4-2.8 mm.
Make sure that the collar of the cover does not protrude from the area of the installation clamp cover.
If so, replace the clamp cover and re-install.
Fill the bag with grease from the repair kit.
Adjust the gap in the rotation of adjusting bolt special tool.
The gap: 3.2 mm.
Make sure that the collar of the cover does not protrude from the area of installation.
