Check of elements of the input shaft



Check the clearance between the gears of 3rd and 2nd gear

Measure the clearance between the gears of 3rd and 2nd gear (Fig. 3.48).
If the clearance exceeds the maximum, check the contact surfaces of gear 2nd and 3rd gear synchronizer sleeve 3/4-th gear. Replace worn or damaged parts.
Clearance: 0.05-0.20 mm.
Maximum: 0.25 mm.

Check the clearance between the gear 4th gear and the bearing

Measure a backlash between a gear wheel of 4th transfer and the bearing (Fig. 3.49).
If the clearance exceeds the maximum, check the contact surfaces of gear 4th gear, bearing and synchronizer sleeve 3/4-th gear. Replace worn or damaged parts.
Clearance: 0.17-0.37 mm.
Maximum: 0.42 mm.
