Checking speaker for reproducing the treble



Test circuit impedance between the speaker output for playing treble

Check the resistance between the terminals of the speaker to reproduce the treble, using an ohmmeter (Fig. 7.89).
If the value is correct, replace the speaker to play the treble.
To check the serviceability of the speaker to reproduce treble, apply and remove the voltage from the speaker output, using the battery voltage of 1.5 V.
If the speaker does not emit sound, replace it.
