Removal, check and installation of the water pump

Disconnect the negative battery cable.

Drain the engine coolant.

Loosen the bolt of the coolant pump pulley to remove the drive belt.

Remove the water pump pulley.

Remove the coolant pump.

Perform a visual inspection and check that the blades on the housing and the water pump is no significant contamination or rust.

Make sure that the paddle shaft no backlash and that it rotates freely by hand.

Install in reverse order of removal.

Again fill the engine coolant.

Check for coolant leaks.
