The control system of mixing the intake air (VTCS)

VTCS system actuates the flap in the intake manifold to increase the flow rate of intake air and create turbulence in the combustion chamber to improve atomization of fuel injected into the cylinder. This reduces the number of CH and CO in the exhaust gases at low loads.
The PCM includes a solenoid valve VTCS, which closes the valve in the intake manifold, if the following conditions are met:
- Engine speed - below 3750 min -1;
- Throttle opening angle - below 1500 min -1 - throttle closed, between 2000 and 3000 min -1 min -1 - 26-29% above 2500 min-1 - throttle fully open;
- Coolant temperature below 63 ? C.
The PCM turns off the solenoid valve VTCS to preserve the quality and stability of starting the engine is started and for 0.2 seconds after starting the engine.
