Replacement of the strut



Removing elements

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the rack suspension.
2. Hold the suspension rack in a vice.
3. Install the compressor on the spring and compress it.
4. Remove the shock absorber rod nut.
5. Remove the upper strut. Check the condition of the bearing.
6. Remove the spring seat and the spring.
7. Remove the saddle and pad with a spring.
8. Remove the cover from the shock absorber.
9. Inspect the gasket on the lower seat for wear or damage.

Assembling of elements

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Replace the gasket on the lower spring seat, if necessary. Place
cover for shock.
2. Place the spring on the suspension rack.
3. Place the gasket and the upper spring seat.
4. Install the seal and the upper strut.
5. Tighten the fixing nut of the shock absorber rod to the required torque
tightening.
6. Set the rack on the car suspension.
