Removing and installing transmission

Removing the gearbox should be carried out as follows:
- Disconnect "minus" terminal of the battery;
- In the cockpit of the car to lift a protective cover of the gear lever, unscrew the bottom of the lever and pull together with a cover;
- The front part of the car jack to lift and install the supports;
- Drain the transmission oil (see below).

The Insurance propeller shaft bracket

- To turn away a safety bracket propeller shaft shown in Fig. 186;

Fixing the propeller shaft to the gearbox
Fig. 187. Fixing the propeller shaft to the gearbox

- Disconnect the propeller shaft from the gearbox. When loosening the screws hold the head of the head bolt spanner wrench. The shaft can be turned, to get access to all the bolts. Fixing the propeller shaft shown in Fig. 187;
- Unscrew the intermediate support propeller shaft, as well as being close to securing the parking brake cable. Pull the PTO shaft and a loop of wire to hang it to the bottom of the car in the right place. The propeller shaft is in any case not to leave in nepodvyazannom condition;
- Insert a wooden block (size 90h20h30 mm) between the crankcase and the crossbeam to the engine when removing the gearbox is shifted from the poles;

- Remove the back yoke of the engine, first unscrewing the connection shown in Fig. 188, and then as shown by the arrows in Fig. 189 bolts traverse;
- Unscrew the clutch slave cylinder from the gearbox without removing the hoses hydraulic drive. Remove the gasket installed between the cylinder and the KP;

Connector encoder speedometer
Fig. 190. Connector encoder speedometer

- Disconnect all electrical wires that are suitable for manual and plugs switch signal reverse and speedometer. Fixing the last shown in Fig. 190. To remove loosen the inner hex bolt;
- To substitute the jack under the gearbox. It must be suitable height. You can put a wooden block on the lifting rod of the jack to prop gearbox. Raise the jack gearbox and unscrew bolts between the engine and gearbox. Disconnect also lead the "masses";
- Gently pull the transmission back and then lower the jack. At the same time, make sure that the shaft came out of the clutch slave drive slots to prevent deformation or damage to the drive shaft.

A warning
Be sure to work with an assistant - he must hold when lowering the jack gearbox. Caution: the possibility of injury!

Before installing reverse gearbox check the condition of the clutch: a run it passed, is working properly, etc.
Transmission installation should be carried out in reverse order with the following instructions:
- Applied to the clutch shaft splines little grease;
- To raise the manual jack and put the shaft into the hole of the hub of the driven disc. If necessary, slightly turn the flange shaft. Push the box in the direction of the motor. Installation sleeve on the motor must clearly fit into the holes gearbox housing;
- CP Secure housing bolts to the engine torque 55 Nm. In the same moment to tighten the wire of "weight";
- To establish traverse, "fit flush" support manual bolt in the middle and tighten the screws on both sides of the yoke to 45 Nm. Bolt and nut bearing tighten to 90 Nm. Take out a piece of wood;
- Insert the plug of the encoder speedometer and tighten the bolt to 8 N ? m (see. Fig. 190);
- Insert the plug signal backing;
- To establish a working cylinder with seal and evenly tighten the two screws to 25 Nm;
- Install propeller shaft flange gearbox evenly in a circle to tighten the bolts to 60-65 N ? m;

Fixing the intermediate support propeller shaft
Fig. 191. Fixing the intermediate support propeller shaft 1 - a safety bracket; 2 - the holder of the parking brake cable

- To establish an intermediate support propeller shaft (Fig. 191). Parts 1 and 2 are set accordingly and tighten the bolts to 85-90 Nm. In the same moment to tighten the bolts a safety bracket propeller shaft (see. Fig. 186);
- The landing gear lever cone apply high temperature grease and fix it in the switching mechanism. Tighten the bolt and tighten to 65 Nm. Wear protective casing of the lever and fix it;
- Connect the "minus" terminal of the battery;
- Pour gear oil. If it is not emptied out, to check the level and if necessary to bring to the norm;
- If the radio with defensive coding, enter the code, set the time.
