General rules for repair works

Description of the repair process in this guide was clear and easy to understand. If during the execution of the work step by step to follow the specification and in the drawings, there should be no difficulty. Technical data in the end of the book, must be used to be on hand when carrying out any work on the car. Throughout the specification, they are not always. We should pay attention to the section that refers to the model of your vehicle, to avoid various misunderstandings. Here are some rules to be followed when carrying out any repair work.
Useful nuts and bolts must be clean and lightly oiled. Check the integrity of the faces of nuts and thread steps, remove burrs formed. In cases of doubt, use new screws and nuts. Do not re-use self-locking nuts, after one use change them with new ones. In no case do not wash grease from nuts and bolts.
Always tightening threaded fasteners, use the tightening torques specified in the special tables. They are united in the application guidance to facilitate their search.
All sealing washers, gaskets, lock plates and rings, pins and sleeves during assembly of the unit must be replaced with new ones. The sealing lips are lightly lubricated with grease before installing them on the shaft. During assembly care must be taken to ensure that the sealing lips are were directed to the direction from which the output is possible grease or oil.
All references to the part of the vehicle (right, left, front and rear) should be considered with respect to the vehicle ahead. All doubtful cases further specified in the text of this manual for repair.

We should pay particular attention to the fact that the performance of work under the car it is necessary to carefully take care of the installation of sound supports under a raised vehicle. Be sure to read Sect. 1.5 before lifting the car for repairs. On board the vehicle jack is provided only for changing wheels on the road. For maintenance purposes it can be used only for the "jacking" during the installation of the car to the respective stand. Special tripod support, such as rice. 2, with the locking finger height of durable material capable of withstanding the car, must be installed under the vehicle for safety reasons, even in cases where the vehicle is used to lift the garage jack. Bricks in any case can not be used as supports, in some cases, you can use the wall hollow blocks because of their greater bearing surface, but it should be added to enclose between the car and the block thick board.
Grease, oil, mastic to handle bottoms and other minerals have an aggressive effect on rubber parts of the chassis and the brake system of the vehicle. Especially should beware getting the listed substances in the fuel and hydraulic systems of the car parts. To clean the brake parts should be used with brake fluid or alcohol. But we must remember that the brake fluid is very poisonous and can corrode the paintwork.
An important condition for the success of the repair is the use of original spare parts. To avoid possible complications during the subsequent operation of the vehicle, do not resort to the installation of spare parts unknown manufacturers. An exception may be parts of electrical equipment and aftermarket parts approved for the installation of the plant - the vehicle manufacturer.
When ordering spare parts must be mentioned the exact name of the model car with VIN-code, as well as possible and the engine number and year of manufacture of the vehicle. This information will speed up the execution of your order and delivery will eliminate unnecessary details.
All work on the car, especially on its brake system, steering and suspension, must be performed with the utmost care and diligence. After each repair should be provided with the absolute safety of the vehicle and traffic.
