The letter on the sidewall, following after the dimensional characteristics, indicates the speed limit in the operation of the tire. If the letter ?�Q?� - limited top speed of 160 km / h, ?�S?� - 180 km / h, "T" - 190 km / h, "H" - 210 km / h.
Tires for winter operation are designated by letters ?�M + S?�.
The date of manufacture can be identified by three-digit number DOT. Since 1990, this number stands for the small triangle. For example, the number 187 indicates that the tire is produced at 18 weeks in 1997. If there is a triangle - before you tire before 1990 model year.
