Replacing the rear cuff



To remove the rear flange gearbox with secondary (driven) shaft necessary and appropriate dvuhlapy puller Tool for fitting cuffs. Replace the back of the cuff should be carried out in the following sequence:
- To establish the car on supports;
- Disconnect the propeller shaft and unscrew the intermediate support, as described in Sec. "Removing and installing transmission";

- Hold the drive flange gearbox, loosen 1 (Fig. 193) a few turns without turning away completely;
- Pull off the flange using puller. Paws for the stripper to have the opposite of the lip, the central rod to rest in loose bolts - if it was shot, may damage the shaft threads. Remove the puller, unscrew the bolt, remove the washer, remove the flange;
- Remove the collar of the hole. To avoid damage to the surrounding parts, it is possible to screw in screws and two sleeve using pliers and a screwdriver to remove it;
- Apply grease between the working edges of a new cuff and drive it using a mandrel of suitable diameter. Remove excess grease;

- Set the flange on the shaft splines, the washer and tighten the bolt (Fig. 194);
- Holding flange from rotating, tighten the bolt to a torque of 110 Nm;
- Insert the propeller shaft and tighten the bolts (60-65 Nm);
- To establish an intermediate support propeller shaft (85-90 Nm);
- Install a safety clip under the propeller shaft and tighten the bolts (85-90 Nm).
