In the central part of the bulkhead in the engine compartment mounted plate with vehicle identification number (Fig. 1.1). On the plate bear the following information about the car:
- Manufacturing company;
- The maximum permissible gross vehicle weight;
- Complete mass transport;
- The load on the front axle;
- The load on the rear axle;
- Type of vehicle;
- Body color code;
- Interior trim color code;
- Car model.
In addition, the 17-digit number stamped on the bulkhead. Model and engine serial number indicated on the cylinder block from the transmission (see. Fig. 1.1). Number gearbox is located on the bottom of the clutch on vehicles with diesel engine or lever clutch fork from gasoline-powered cars. In the automatic transmission number is applied to the controller plug. Information about the air conditioner are listed on a label attached to the inside of the engine hood.
