Removal and installation of the instrument cluster



Tighten the screws on the frame of the instrument cluster

Disconnect the battery negative lead. Install the steering wheel in position for straight-line motion. Remove the cowling of a steering shaft. Remove the steering wheel. Unscrew the scope of the instrument cluster (Fig. 8.6), and then remove the screws fixing the instrument cluster (Fig. 8.7), pull it out and disconnect the speedometer cable and connectors devices. Remove the instrument cluster.

Install in reverse order of removal. Before finally tightening the screws, make sure you connect the right connectors and cable speedometer. In Fig. 8.8 shows the details of the instrument cluster.
