Replacing the mechanical valve



To replace the mechanical valve, do the following:

Mechanical valve EGR (engine 1Z)

- Disconnect the tube 3 (Fig. 4.4) from the valve 7;
- Remove the gasket.
Installation of the valve is carried out in reverse order of removal.
When installing the valve the following guidelines:
- Use new nuts and gasket;
- Check the connection of hose;
- Attach the nozzle, set screws, without tightening them, make sure that the pipe does not undergo deformation. Tighten the screws.
