The propeller shaft
Removal and installation of the propeller shaft in the following order:
perform work on a pit or trestle;
remove the front part of the exhaust system and thermofilter;

The propeller shaft

The propeller shaft 1 - elastic coupling; 2 - a protective casing; 3 - the front section of the propeller shaft; 4 - a protective casing; 5 - the hinge; 6 - flange; 7 - front intermediate support; 8 - the middle section of the propeller shaft; 9 - posterior intermediate support; 10 - flange; 11 - the hinge; 12 - rear section of the propeller shaft; 13 - elastic coupling

Unscrew the back support 9 (Fig. 8.82), the propeller shaft;
Note the relative position of the back and middle sections of the propeller shaft and unscrew bolts of the rear section to the hinge;
Unscrew the rear section of the propeller shaft to the viscous coupling;
moving forward middle section, remove the rear section of the propeller shaft;
noting the relative position, loosen the bolts of the front propeller shaft to the flexible coupling and remove the three bolts to the flange coupling the transfer case;
Unscrew the front propeller shaft bearings. Move the propeller shaft back and otverntite bolts to the shaft, flexible couplings;
remove the propeller shaft, moving it toward the rear of the vehicle;
Install in reverse order of removal.

Transfer case
Remove the transfer case using the following procedure:
perform work in a pit or trestle;
Remove the propeller shaft;
disconnect the front drive shafts of the transfer case;
loosen the bracket bolts transfer case to the engine;
Unscrew the transfer case to the transmission and remove the transfer case.
Dismantling transfer case performed as follows:

Transfer case

unscrew the bolt drive flange and remove the propeller shaft flange 17 (Fig. 8.83);
remove the flange of the right drive shaft;
Remove the lock ring of the adjusting nut;
unscrewing the position of the adjusting nut with respect to housing, unscrew the nut;
unscrewing the bolts, remove the propeller shaft driven gear and the pinion gear;
unscrewing the bolts, remove the pinion and pinion gear with the input shaft.

Transfer case assembly sequence is as follows:
Set in the crankcase and driven pinion gear with the input shaft;
Install the propeller shaft drive flange;
put on the mating surfaces of the cover and housing a thin layer of sealant, install the cover on the housing and secure it with screws;
Screw the adjusting nut in accordance with pre-labeling, and then install the lock ring;
Set the drive shaft;
set the drive flange of the right front wheel, the conical ring, spring and thrust washer;
Install spring washer and retaining ring right front wheel drive;
screw bolt flange propeller shaft, pre causing the threads of the bolts the means interfering unscrewing bolts.
Install the transfer case made in sequence, return to removal.

Viskomufta
Removing the viscous coupling procedure is as follows:
noting the position of the rear section of the propeller shaft, remove the propeller shaft of the fluid coupling;
unscrew the central nut of the hydraulic clutch.

Viskomufta
Fig. 8.84. Viscous coupling 1 - a nut; 2, 3 - a ring; 4 - viscous coupling; 5 - pin; 6 - the main reverse gear

holding viskomufta 4 (Fig. 8.84) by means of mounting the blades, press down the stabilizer bracket;
remove the viscous coupling and close the hole in her body cap.

Home reverse gear
Removing the back of the main transfer procedure is as follows:
Remove the visco-coupling cap and close the hole in her body;
disconnect from the main reverse gear drive shafts;
disconnect the tube from the pneumatic actuator freewheel;

Fasteners main reverse gear

disconnect fasteners (Fig. 8.85) Carter of the main reverse gear;
Establish a jack under the crankcase main gear, lift the jack so that the weight of the main reverse gear perceived jack;
Unscrew the main reverse gear, lower the jack and remove rear main transmission from under the car.
Dismantling the rear final drive in the following order:
set the main reverse gear on the support leg;
turning 90 ? pneumatic actuator freewheel, remove it from the crankcase main reverse gear;
remove the flange of the left drive shaft from the side of the adjusting nut;
noting the position of the locking ring, remove the ring and loosen the adjusting nut;
Remove the bolts that connect the crankcase halves and divide the main transmission casing;

Home reverse gear

Home reverse gear: 1 - a lock ring; 2 - side gear; 3 - Sat; 4 - a protective ring; 5 - a lock ring; 6 - a connecting flange; 7 - the output shaft; 8 - the bearing; 9 - a box of differential; 10 - Spacing sleeve; 11 - ring; 12 - cage freewheel; 13 - the case of overrunning clutch; 14 - the output shaft; 15 - a nave; 16 - balls; 17 - a spring; 18 - ring; 19 - the holder of the bearing; 20 - the bearing; 21 - drive shaft; 22 - driven gear; 23 - the bearing; 24 - a sealing ring; 25 - connecting flange; 26 - drive gear; 27 - the bearing; 28 - shim; 29 - the plug; 30 - the bearing; 31 - a nut

Remove the input shaft together with the driven gear 22 (Fig. 8.86);
Remove the retaining ring and overrunning clutch plate;
remove the drive from the internal gear;
remove the freewheel;
Remove left output shaft of the main transmission with the external gear and the spacer;
Remove the thrust washers and hub freewheel by turning it clockwise;
Remove the locking mechanism freewheel.
The assembly and installation of the main reverse gear is made in sequence, return dismantling and removal.
