Damper strut

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Loosen the bolts of the front wheels, then lift the front of the car and fix on supports. Remove the front wheels.
2. From the gutters, remove the rubber insert.
3. Remove the two nuts securing the upper strut, it does not damage the brake pipe protective coating.
4. Remove the bracket on the brake caliper sensor wire ABS, see. Fig. Mounting bracket for mounting the sensor wires ABS (arrow).
5. Remove the nut (1), remove the bolt and pulling it up, remove the upper wishbone (2) of the steering knuckle, see. Fig. Elements of the top fastening of a rotary fist.
A warning

Do not extend the grooves in the knuckle when removing the upper wishbone. It is forbidden to unscrew bolts tie rod to the steering knuckle, as otherwise it will be necessary to adjust the angles of the front wheels (3 and 4). See fig. Elements of the top fastening of a rotary fist.


6. Tilt towards the upper part of the knuckle (arrow). See fig. Elements of the top fastening of a rotary fist.
7. Unscrew the nut and remove the lower mounting strut to the lower wishbone.
8. Carefully remove the spring strut from the front wing. It does not damage the protective cover of the hinge of equal angular speeds of the drive shaft.

Setting

2 - a bolt fixing the upper wishbone

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Set the spring strut such that the hole in the socket with a spring housed inside, see. Fig. Location holes in spring nest.
2. Place the fork mounting strut lower wishbone on and fix a bolt and a nut, having tightened their moment of 90 Nm.
3. Install the upper wishbones all the way into the steering knuckle and secure with bolt and nut tightening torque of 40 Nm (2). See Fig. Location hole in the socket spring.
4. Secure the ABS sensor on the brake caliper bracket.
5. Fix the upper part of the strut nuts, having tightened their moment of 20 Nm, but it does not damage the brake pipe protective coating.
6. Install the rubber inserts in the gutter.
7. Apply a thin coat of grease on the collar of the hub aligning the drive wheels. Install the wheel and secure it with screws. Lower the car and tighten the wheel bolts torque of 120 Nm.
