Replacing brake fluid



Replace the brake fluid in the brake system and clutch assembly

Unscrew the cap 1 of the expansion tank of brake system (Fig. 6.6).

Evacuate the hose from the unit for filling and bleeding the brake system as much as possible brake fluid (Fig. 6.7).

NOTE
Strainer expansion tank removed from the brake fluid reservoir is prohibited.

ATTENTION
Do not re-use brake fluid pumped

Screw the adapter 1 to the expansion tank of brake system (Fig. 6.8).
Install the brake pedal emphasis between the driver seat and the brake pedal and lock it.
Connect the hose from the unit for filling and bleeding the brake system or device for filling and bleeding the brake system to the adapter.

NOTE
Use a suitable hose to pump. It must be firmly secured to the bleeder plug to the braking system did not get air.

Put a hose to pump 1 on the front left bleeder plug, open the choke and release the appropriate amount of the brake fluid (see. Table) (Fig. 6.9).
Tighten fitting.
Repeat this operation on the right side of the vehicle in front.
Remove both wheels on the rear axle to provide access to the bleed screw.
Remove the caps from the bleeder plug slides.

Put the exhaust hose 1 canister pumpout devices on rear left bleeder plug (Fig. 6.10).
Open the bleed screw and release the appropriate amount of the brake fluid (see. Table). Tighten fitting.
Repeat the operation on the right rear caliper.

For vehicles with manual transmission
Remove the air filter.
Fit the hose to bleed screw clutch slave cylinder.
Open the fitting and release about 100 ml of brake fluid.
Close the nipple and quickly press the clutch pedal 10-15 times in a row.
Reopen the fitting and release about 50 ml of brake fluid.
Close fitting, remove the hose and repeatedly press the clutch pedal.
Reinstall the air filter in the reverse order.
Total volume: about 1.15 l
Fit the caps on the bleed screw.
Bring the lever device for filling and bleeding the brake system or apparatus for filling and bleeding the brake system in the position ?�B?�.
Remove the hose from the adapter.
Remove the adapter from the surge tank of brake system.
Check the brake fluid level and correct it if necessary.
Screw the cap 1 of the expansion tank (Fig. 6.6).
Remove the palm of the brake pedal.
Check the pressure on the pedal and the brake pedal free wheeling. Free travel: maximum 1/3 of the pedal stroke.
