Checking switching intake manifold

Carry out the checks only if there is insufficient torque, ie, if there is a lack of flexibility or a lack of traction.
Check valve cycle through the intake manifold using a tester A mode ?Gefuehrte Fehlersuche / Guided Fault Finding".
If the switching valve intake manifold is undamaged, check the following

Checking procedure
Remove the cover of the vacuum actuator.
Start the engine and let it run at idle. Vacuum unit involved.
The assistant should sharply depress the accelerator pedal. Make sure the vacuum actuated switching intake manifold it should switch.
If the switch does not operate. as described above, check the tightness of the vacuum system, including vacuum reservoir to the intake manifold.
Check the ease of movement of the switching mechanism. To do this, pull the drive rod by hand.
Check the connection of the vacuum pipes.
Check the vacuum hoses for porosity.
Disconnect the vacuum hose to the vacuum actuator switch from the intake manifold switching valve intake manifold 1.

Connect hand vacuum pump to the vacuum actuator switching intake manifold
Fig. 2.236. Connect hand vacuum pump to the vacuum actuator switching intake manifold

Connect a hand vacuum pump to the vacuum actuator switching intake manifold (Fig. 2.236).
Repeatedly press the hand vacuum pump. Link the vacuum actuator should move.
If the drive switching intake manifold does not move
