Installation of hose connections with the nipple connectors



ATTENTION
O-ring choke connector may be damaged if the retainer during installation is in the locked position. The result is a leak. Follow the instructions for installation.

The socket connector can be unlocked by pulling the clip-lock (Fig. 2.352).
Disconnect the hose / pipe should be without any aids.

Setting
When replacing the O-ring groove, insert it into the charge air hose. Note that the ring fully into the groove of the village.
Oil the sealing edge and the sealing ring.

Give the bracket latch to the unlock position 1 (Fig. 2.353).
Push the charge-air hose all the way into the socket.
Bring the locking clip to the locked position 2 and push the hose again completely (Fig. 2.353).
By pulling, check for correct seating and reliability of fixing the hose coupling.

NOTE
After installing and removing the charge air tubes with spring clamps likely "sliding hose" while driving. For this reason, set the spring clips, which are then at fault corresponding charge air tubes, allowed to open (Fig. 2.354).

If repair is necessary to break the spring clamp with a suitable tool and replaced.
