Four-cylinder engines



For vehicles manufactured before 1998, installed air conditioning compressor Zexel, and since 1999 - the air conditioning compressor Zexel and Denso.

Withdrawal
Remove the front section of the bottom mudguard of a motor compartment.
Remove the screws and assemble the front cross bar in the service position.

Loosen the screws 1 (Fig. 17.18) mechanism mounting tension V-belt air conditioning compressor and remove the belt from pulleys.

Remove the screws 1 (Fig. 17.19 and Fig. 17.20) fixing the air conditioning compressor and a soft wire tie it to the body.

Remove the bolts 4, 5, and remove the bracket C compressor.

Setting
Installation is spent to sequences, return to removal, taking into account the following.
Install the air conditioning compressor belt and adjust its tension. To do this, a torque wrench to the hex head mechanism of a tension belt air conditioning compressor in the "seven o'clock", create a pre-tension 25 N ?� m (see. Fig. 17.18) and in this position, tighten the bolts tightening mechanism 1 (see. Figure . 17.18) to 20 Nm.
Start up the engine, check the uniformity of motion and V-ribbed belt.
