Fuel tank



Withdrawal

A WARNING
Even in an empty fuel tank has a pair of fuel, so be careful.

The fuel tank 17 (Fig. 4.3) is removed from the bottom of the car. To support the fuel tank using a jack.
Before disconnecting the battery, check whether you have the code switch on the radio.
Switch off the ignition and disconnect a wire of "weight" from the storage battery.
Briefly open and close the cover toplivonalivnoy neck.
Drain the fuel from the fuel tank.
Front-wheel drive cars
Remove the cover, located under the luggage compartment carpet.

Disconnect the 4-pin electrical connector (see. Fig. 4.15).
Remove protection arch rear right wheel.
Clean the area around the top of the toplivonalivnoy neck.
Remove the cover and acting as a lever blade screwdriver, remove the rubber sleeve from the top of toplivonalivnoy neck.
From under the arches of the rear right wheel, remove the bolt toplivonalivnoy top of the neck.

Remove the access panel located in front of the rear axle (Fig. 4.4).

Remove the sensor mounting bolt mounting height G84 suspension to the body (Fig. 4.5).

All models

Location fuel hose (1) the fuel return (2) and the ventilation (3)

Disconnect the fuel supply hose 1 (Fig. 4.6) from the fuel filter.

A WARNING
The fuel system is pressurized. Before releasing elements of the fuel system to relieve pressure in the system. To do this, close the connection point of the fuel system and a clean cloth, being careful, gently loosen the union nut.

Sign the fuel return pipe 2 and a ventilation hose 3 and disconnect them.

Disconnect the "masses" (see. Fig. 4.9).

Cars with an additional heater
Disconnect the fuel hose to the additional heater.

All models
Place the jack under the fuel tank to the base plate and lift the jack so that the weight of the fuel tank perceived jack.

Note the location of the tape fastening the fuel tank, remove the bolts 1-6 (Fig. 4.7) and remove the tape.
With assistant lower the fuel tank, thus, be careful not to bend the fuel tubes.

Setting
Installation is spent to sequences, return to removal, taking into account the following.
Make sure that the hoses are connected properly and securely attached with clamps.
When you install all the O-rings replaced.

Make sure that the fuel hoses, fuel return and ventilation tank mounted on the front right side of the fuel tank (Fig. 4.8).
Connect the "masses" (Fig. 4.9).
Make sure that the wire is connected to "weight" is connected to the ring on the neck toplivonalivnoy.
Under the arch rear right wheel screw bolt of the upper part of the neck with toplivonalivnoy "mass" contact.

A WARNING
Once installed, using an ohmmeter, check the resistance between the "weight" on toplivonalivnoy neck ring and the metal part of the body, which should be close to 0.

After fastening the tapes securing the fuel tank put on the bolt protruding protective caps to protect the spare tire from damage.
Connect a wire of "weight" to the battery.
Fit the rear right wheel arch.
Turn on the radio and enter the code.
Lift up the power window glass until it stops. Then click on all window switches again for at least 1, in the closed position of the control unit to activate windows.
Set the clock.
Before starting the engine, check the availability and level of oil in the engine.
After separation of the various electrical connections in the memory control unit writes error information to be erased after installation.
Start up the engine and check the tightness of supply.
