Withdrawal
Open the hood and enclose pure rags under the corners, to protect the paintwork when removing the hood of the car.
Disconnect the hose from the washer nozzles and electrical connectors. Tie the hose and electrical connector thin long cord. Pull out the hood wiring and hose them untie the cord, leave it in the hood. Subsequently the cord required for the installation of wiring in the hood and the hose.
Using a marker, mark the position of the hinges on the hood.
Ask the assistant to support the hood in the open position and, using a screwdriver blade, disconnect the hood from the gas-filled rack. If you need to remove the gas-filled hood rack from the vehicle, similar to remove the bottom part of the support.

If will be established new air support, for the disposal of old support is necessary to remove the gas. To do this, fasten the support in the grip of the X portion shown in Fig. 16.12. To avoid accidents, be sure to grip the support of the said portion. At a distance equal to 1/3 of the length, Saw body air support.

When cutting support for the use of eye protection goggles.

Remove the nuts 4 (see. Fig. 16.11) securing the left and right hinges of the hood and being careful, remove the hood.
Check the condition of the hood hinges on the presence of backlash and wear and replace them if necessary.

Setting
With two assistants, set the hood and screw nuts from the hand to the hood hinges. Align hood hinges according to earlier made labels and tighten the bonnet nuts.
Secure the gas-filled strut on the hood, what with force press until it locks focus on the spherical hinge of the hood.
Tie a cord to the electrical connector and the washer hose and retract them to the hood. Put the hose on the windshield washer nozzles.

Close the hood and check its position relative to the adjacent surfaces. With the hood closed the gap around the perimeter should be uniform in length. Designated clearance measurement and its value are shown in Fig. 16.13.
To adjust the rear of the bonnet, loosen the screws, adjust the relative position of the hood hinges relative to the hood and tighten the screws.
To adjust the front of the bonnet height unscrew the screws attaching the base 8 (see. Fig. 16.16) bonnet, move the lock in the appropriate direction and tighten bolts. To adjust the height of installation of the hood relative to the front wings rotate in one direction or the other rubber abutments hood (Fig. 16.14).
