Removing the driven and clutch pressure plate



Remove the gearbox.
Note paint marker or position clutch assemblies relative to the flywheel.

Using a special tool VW-3067 or the screwdriver, the teeth of the flywheel lock it against rotation (Fig. 8.9).
Gradually, "star", loosen the bolts of coupling, turning each bolt by half a turn as long as the action of a spring and bolts will be possible to turn by hand.
Remove the pressure plate, thus support the clutch disc, so that it is not dropped.
Clean the dirt from the clutch, but do not use solvents.
Clean flywheel gasoline.
