Substitution coolant

According to the recommendations of the manufacturer the coolant should be replaced by 40 thousand. Km or 4 years of operation (whichever comes first).
You will need: coolant, clean rags, tank drained coolant capacity of not less than 10 liters, pliers.

WARNINGS
Use coolants based on ethylene glycol (antifreeze).
Replace the coolant only when engine is cold.
The coolant is toxic, so be careful when working with it.
When the engine is started the surge tank cap must be closed. Tighten the tank stopper tight. The cooling system with the engine running is under pressure, so when poorly wrapped tube from under it may leak coolant.

1. Place the vehicle on a flat, horizontal surface.
2. Remove the surge tank cap.
3. Place a container under the drain valve of the radiator cooling system located at the bottom of the left radiator tank, and by removing the valve, drain the liquid.

A WARNING
Antifreeze is deadly poisonous to all living things. In order not to pollute the environment, its drain from the radiator through a funnel (for example made of plastic bottles for carbonated water).

4. To ensure complete draining of the system and guarantee the removal of air from it at a gas station antennae tighten hose clip heating throttle knot, slide the clamp on a hose ...
5. ... and remove the hose from the union of the throttle assembly.
6. Screw the drain cock.

NOTE
If the expansion tank is very dirty, remove (see. "Removing and installing expansion tank") and rinse it.

7. Flush the cooling system, which replace the supply of coolant hose to the throttle assembly and slowly fill the system with water through the surge tank to the level Vapour tube.
8. Start up the engine and let it run until the inclusion of fan.
9. Stop the engine and drain the water.
10. Flush cooling system until it starts to blend clean water.
11. Again, disconnect the hose from the fitting of the throttle assembly.
12. Fill the engine cooling system, filling the coolant expansion tank until until it comes out of the fitting into the butterfly unit and removed from the hose. At the beginning of leaking fluid hose set into place and fix a collar.
13. Start up the engine and warm it up to operating temperature (up to turn on the fan). After that stop the engine, check the coolant level and if necessary add it in a broad tank to a label ?MAX?.

NOTE
When the engine make sure the coolant temperature at the sign. If the arrow has reached the red zone, and radiator fan does not turn, turn on the heater and check which air passes through it. If the heater delivers the heated air is likely to be defective fan, and if the cold air is supplied, then the engine cooling system formed airlock. To remove it shut off the engine, let it cool down and remove the surge tank cap. Start up the engine, let it run for 3-5 minutes and tighten the tank cap.

HELPFUL HINTS
In order to better fill the system with no air pockets periodically prozhimayte radiator hoses by hand.
After a few days of operation of the car after replacing the coolant Check the level. If necessary, make up the level.
If a very short time has become the color of fresh liquid brown, it means you have filled forgery, in which the manufacturer has "forgotten" to add corrosion inhibitors. In addition, one of the signs of forgery is a dramatic complete bleaching liquid. Dye-quality coolant is very resistant, and eventually only darkens. Decolorized liquid methylene blue tinted underwear. This "anti-freeze" should be replaced soon.
