The instrument panel and controls

On the instrument panel contains the following controls and instrumentations (see. Fig. 1.7).
1 - control electroproof headlights. Turn the control knob according to the load change the angle of the light beam headlights so as to eliminate blinding oncoming traffic. Label combination on the handle of the regulator and the numbers on the scale provides a suitable adjustment of the position of headlights when the vehicle load the following variants:
0 - one driver or the driver and a passenger in the front seat;
1 - all the seats are occupied;
2 - one driver and the load in the boot;
3 - all seats occupied and load in the trunk.
2 - air vents glass door.
3 - side air ventilation and heating of the cabin. The side nozzles are designed to direct the flow of air from the heater, air conditioner or ventilation system. The direction of air flow alter the movement of the handle, installed in the center of the nozzle (right-left), or by turning the vents (up and down).
4 - stalk outdoor lighting and direction indicators. Stalk may occupy the following positions:
I - by turning the handle around the axis of the lever, choose one of three fixed positions:
OFF - all off;
- Inclusive dimensional lighting;
- Using the main / dipped;
II - included a right turn indicators (fixed position);
III - includes pointers left turn (fixed position);
IV - the headlight of headlights (fixed position, the handle should be in position );
V - the headlight of headlights regardless of the position of the handle (non-fixed position).

When you move the lever to position II or III in the instrument cluster will blink warning lamp 11 or 6 (see. Fig. 1.9). When returning the steering wheel in the straight-ahead position lever is set automatically to its original position. When changing lanes to turn on the turn signal just press the lever toward the position II or III only until resistance is felt, not locking lever. Releasing the lever will return to its original position. With the gear in position IV or V in the instrument cluster warning lamp 10.

NOTE
If the switch (lock) of ignition is set to ?�LOCK?� or ?�ACC?�, when the exterior lighting at the time of opening the driver's door the buzzer will sound reminding you to turn off the lights.

5 - the steering wheel.
6 - a combination of devices (see. "The combination of instruments").
7 - switch (lock) of ignition, combined with anti-theft device, located on the right side of the steering column. The key in the lock can take one of four positions:
- LOCK (lock) - ignition is switched off when the key is removed included anti-theft device.
To remove the ignition key, press the key set to the "ACC" (optional), and hold it down, and turn to position ?�LOCK?� (locking). Remove the key from the lock.
To ensure blocking the steering shaft turn the steering wheel left or right until it clicks.
To turn off the anti-theft device, insert the key into the ignition switch and gently turning the steering wheel from side to side, turn the key to the "ACC";

A WARNING
Do not turn off the ignition and remove the key from the ignition while driving: steering is locked and the car becomes unmanageable.

- ACC (accessory) - the ignition is off, the key can not be removed, the steering is unlocked. Includes food chain beep, outdoor lighting, signaling beam headlights, radio, cigarette lighter, etc .;
- ON (ON) - ignition is switched on, the key can not be removed, the steering is unlocked. Turn on the ignition, all the devices and circuits;
- START (starter) - Turn on the ignition and the starter key is removed, the steering is unlocked. This provision floating keys, when the key is released under the action of the spring force returns to the ?�ON?�.
8 - the lever switch of a cleaner and a windscreen washer includes circuits with the ignition on and can take the following provisions:
OFF - wiper off (fixed position);
INT - included intermittent wiper (fixed position). To wiper made one cycle, push the lever in the direction of the position ?�INT?� until resistance is felt and then release the lever;
LO - is on the first (lowest) speed wiper (fixed position);
HI - including the second (high) speed of the wiper (fixed position);
I - the movement of the arm turns on the windscreen washer (non-fixed position). When you press the lever after the washer automatically turns on the wiper, which will make the brush a few cycles.
9 - the switch of the rear fog lamp. Fog lights switched on by pressing the switch button in the handle of the lever 4 rotated switch position or . Pressing the button turns off the fog lamp.
10 - the temperature control air submitted to salon (see. "Heating (air-conditioning), and blower").

NOTE
By car Daewoo Lanos on the central wall mounted electronic watch with a digital display on the LCD. On the front panel are buttons for setting hours and choice of operating modes.

11 - the central nozzles of system of ventilation and heating of the cabin. The direction of air flow alter the movement of arms from side to side or turn deflectors up and down.
12 - the switch of fan operation (see. "Heating (air-conditioning), and blower").
13 - the switch of the alarm. Pressing the switch will blink all direction indicators and the corresponding indicator lights mounted in the instrument cluster. Pressing the alarm button is disabled.

NOTE
Alarm operates at any position in the key switch (lock) of ignition.

14 - a regulator of flow distribution in the cabin air supply (see. "Heating (air-conditioning), and blower").
15 - the switch of electrical heating rear window. When you press the switch (ignition switch in the "ACC") included Rear window while warning lamp lights up in the button. Pressing the button turns off and the heating control lamp goes out.

WARNINGS
The heating element uses very large current. Therefore, in order to prevent excessive discharge of the battery include electric heating with the engine running, and only for the time necessary for demisting rear window.
In order not to damage the threads of the heater, to clean the inside of the rear window, do not use scrapers or other sharp objects, as well as detergents with abrasives.

16 - the glovebox. Used for storage of small items.
To access the glove box, pull the handle ...
... And open it.
17 - the lever valve recirculation mode (see. "Heating (air-conditioning), and blower").
18 - plug box for the installation of radio.
19 - a niche for small items.
20 - retractable cup holder. To use the cup holder ...
... Click on its front panel and release it - the tray partially out of the dashboard.
Then fully pull out the tray from the instrument panel. After use, push the tray back into place, and push it until it engages.
21 - ashtray. To use the ashtray, grasp the handle ...
... And pull out the ashtray from the dashboard.
To clean the ashtray, press the tab and remove the ashtray from the dashboard.
22 - the gear lever (see. "Gear lever").
23 - the parking brake lever. In order to slow down the vehicle parking brake, lift the lever all the way up - in the instrument cluster lights up red warning lamp 17 (see. Fig. 1.9).
To disinhibited car, pull the lever up slightly, press the button at the end of the lever handle and push the lever all the way down - the warning light should go off.
24 - cigarette lighter. To use the cigarette lighter, press the moving parts (the key in the ignition switch in the "ACC"). After heating coil within 10-20 with movable part automatically snaps back to its original position ...
... And the cigarette lighter can be removed for use.

WARNINGS
The cigarette lighter can be included again no earlier than 20 seconds.
Do not hold the lighter forcibly pressed.
Do not use the cartridge to connect the cigarette lighter of powerful electrical appliances (electric and so on.) - This can cause damage to electrical equipment.
If the button is not the cigarette lighter is reset after 30 seconds after turning on, remove the lighter from the socket to prevent burnout spiral.

25 - the accelerator pedal.
26 - the switch of the air conditioner (see. "Heating (air-conditioning), and blower").
27 - brake pedal.
28 - the clutch pedal.
29 - the horn switch. To enable the beep, press the switch.
30 - a cover of the assembly block of safety locks (see. "Mounting blocks").
31 - the lever of the bonnet. To open the bonnet, pull the lever towards you. This raised front edge of the hood, forming a gap for access to the handle of the safety hook hood. Press it, you can open the hood.
