Possible faults in the mechanism of clearance of hydraulic actuator valves, their causes and remedies



* Possible causes of high noise at idle, increasing with the increase in engine speed to 1500 min-1 and not connected with the work of the lash:
- Increased wear biscuit arm of the valve actuator or lever;
- Increasing the gaps between the rods of valves and guide bushings;
- Increased in comparison with the allowable misalignment of the valve and the seat;
- Misalignment of the ends of the valve springs;
- More than the permissible runout chamfer the valve head;
- Contact with the valve spring damper mechanism of rotation of the valve.
