Removing and installing brake pedal



The brake pedal is removed to replace the plastic bushings its axis and bushings finger fork pushrod brake booster when a squeaking, binding or a larger backlash, and to replace the return spring when it is damaged.
You will need: the keys "14", "15", pliers, screwdriver.
1. In the cabin under the dashboard, disconnect from the brake pedal bracket brake light switch (see. "Replacement of gauges and switches").
2. Disconnect the brake pedal pusher of the vacuum brake booster. For this purpose pliers, remove the retainer pin plug pusher ...
3. ... and remove the pin from the plug hole and the pedals.
4. Remove the brake pedal shaft in the same way as it did when removing the clutch pedal (see. Nos. 3 and 4, "Removing and installing clutch pedal"), and remove the pedal.
5. If necessary, remove the return spring, moving it bent ends of the holes in the bracket.
6. Remove the pedal sleeve 1 pin and two sleeves 2 axis.
7. Install the brake pedal and all the parts removed in reverse order.
