Replacing the front exhaust pipe



1. Remove the three screws securing the exhaust flange on the exhaust manifold ...


HELPFUL ADVICE
The nuts securing the exhaust flange after prolonged use of "burn up" to the studs. To prevent damage to the pins loosening soak fittings liquid WD-40 (or compounds similar to it) or kerosene.
Worth every disassembly new connections to replace the nut, since the faces of nuts can be crumpled and the subsequent tightening (loosening) can be broken completely, then unscrew the nut will be very difficult.

2. ... and the three nuts securing the exhaust flange to flange catalytic converter (or the flange spacers).
3. Remove the cushion suspension system from the bracket on the receiver tube ...
4. ... disconnect the exhaust flange and converter ...
... 5. Slide the flange of a reception pipe to the exhaust manifold studs and remove the pipe.
6. Remove the flange gaskets converter ...
7. ... and the exhaust manifold.
HELPFUL ADVICE
Replace with new gaskets between the flanges of the front exhaust pipe, catalytic converter (spacers) and the exhaust manifold at each dismantling of the connection as much compress the gasket does not provide a reliable seal.

8. Install the exhaust pipe in the reverse order of removal.
