Diagnostics of the engine as spark plugs
Condition of the engine can be estimated from the mean of deposits on the insulator of the central electrode.
Check spark plugs (the crankshaft of the engine starter can be scrolled)
Connect the spark plug wire high voltage to the spark plug, twisted from the cylinder head. Connect the outer electrode (housing) candles with "weight" (with bracket on the engine), scroll to the crankshaft of the engine starter. If the candle is serviceable, then between the electrodes of the spark plug will slip spark (rather weak, because the discharge takes place in an atmosphere of a small gap). If the spark plug is faulty, then the spark will not occur due to leakage of charge on the insulator candles (Fig. 7.6).
Check spark plug wires high voltage Check the cap and wire insulation for cracks.

NOTE Resistance to high-voltage spark plug wire should not be greater than 10 ohms (BOUGI) or 22 ohms (R16AIPS) per meter length of wire. If the resistance of the wire above a specified value, replace the cable. |
