Test idling

Collect unloaded test circuit, as shown in Figure 7.61.

Rheostat to adjust the voltage of the battery so that the voltmeter shows a value of 11.5 V. Make sure that the maximum supply current standard value, and that the starter armature rotates freely, without jerks and jamming.

Rated current: 60 A or less.
