Withdrawal
Remove the air inlet duct from the air filter.
Disconnect the air temperature sensor connector in the intake manifold.
Disconnect the air intake hose from the air filter.
Remove the air filter cover and remove the filter element.

Unscrew the air filter housing and remove the housing (Fig. 2.204).

Check
Check housing cover and air filter element for deformation, corrosion or damage.
Check the air intake duct for damage.
Check the resonator for deformation or damage.

Check the filter element in the absence of a contamination, pollution or damage. If the filter element is dirty or clogged slightly, then remove dust and dirt blowing compressed air from the outside (the side facing the intake manifold) (Fig. 2.205).
Check other parts of the air filter clogging, contamination or damage.

Setting
Install an air filter assembly in the reverse order of removal.
