Removal, check and installation of the front anti-roll bar
Withdrawal Remove the front wheel.
Remove the stabilizer mounting brackets and bushing stabilizer (Fig. 4.38). Remove the stabilizer bar. Check Check the stabilizer bar for damage or deformation. Check all bolts for deformation and damage. Check the protective covers of spherical hinges resistant stabilizer for cracks and damage.
| Fig. 4.39. Check torque ball joint stabilizer
|
In the presence of cracks or breaks a protective cover of a ball joint, replace it and add grease in the joint. Several times shake a finger of the spherical hinge stabilizer. Screw the self-locking nut on a finger of the spherical hinge and then measure the torque of a finger. Nominal value: 1,7-3,2 Nm. If the torque exceeds the upper limit of the nominal value, replace the stabilizer link. If the torque is less than the lower limit of the nominal value, the ball joint is considered to be fit for further use as long as there is no binding and excessive backlash in the ball joint.
Setting Install the sleeve on the stabilizer bar.

NOTE The distance between the edge of the sleeve and the edge of the painted white paint marks on the stabilizer from the outside of the vehicle shall be 10 mm (Fig. 4.40). |

|
Install the mounting bracket on the stabilizer bush (Fig. 4.41). Fully compatible with the plug marks on the stabilizer, painted with white paint. Temporarily tighten bolts of fastening of the stabilizer bracket, and then install the bracket on the opposite side of the stabilizer.
