Removing and installing the generator

Withdrawal

Disconnect the negative (-) terminals of the battery. Disconnect the cooling fan connector and terminal air conditioner condenser fan (Fig. 7.14).

Unscrew the radiator support (Fig. 7.15).

Loosen the adjusting bolt on an adjusting lath of the generator and remove the retaining bolt (Fig. 7.16).

Then lift the car.

Disconnect the connector of the generator and output wire from the "B" of the generator (Fig. 7.17).

Remove the alternator drive belt. Remove the nut and bolt hinging generator (Fig. 7.18).

Then lift up the heat sink and remove the generator assembly.
