Removal, check and installation of an inlet collector
Withdrawal
Disconnect from the throttle body hose crankcase ventilation (Fig. 2.177).
Disconnect from the throttle body coolant hose. Disconnect the hose valve PCV and brake booster vacuum hose. Remove the vacuum hose fitting.
Before disconnecting the fuel hose from the high pressure fuel manifold relieve residual pressure in the system.
Disconnect the harness connector at the fuel injectors (Fig. 2.180). Remove the fuel manifold with injectors.
ATTENTION Be careful not to drop the fuel injectors when removing the reservoir. |
Check Check the details for cracks and damage. Check the condition of the channel passage of air, water jacket and fittings vacuum hoses. Clean if necessary Using Rulers and feeler gauge, measure the warping of mating plane intake manifold. Standard value: 0.15 mm. Limit: 0.20 mm.
Setting Replace the intake manifold gasket and install a new intake manifold in place. Tightening torque fixing the intake manifold: bolts - 15-20 Nm; Nuts - 30-42 Nm.
