Removal, check and installation of an inlet collector

Withdrawal

Detach crankcase breather hose

Disconnect from the throttle body hose crankcase ventilation (Fig. 2.177).

Disconnect a cable of an accelerator pedal (Fig. 2.178).
Disconnect from the throttle body coolant hose.
Disconnect the hose valve PCV and brake booster vacuum hose.
Remove the vacuum hose fitting.

Uncover injectors (Fig. 2.179).
Before disconnecting the fuel hose from the high pressure fuel manifold relieve residual pressure in the system.

Disconnect the harness connector at the fuel injectors (Fig. 2.180).
Remove the fuel manifold with injectors.

ATTENTION
Be careful not to drop the fuel injectors when removing the reservoir.

Remove the strut intake manifold (Fig. 2.181).

Remove the intake manifold assembly and gasket (Fig. 2.182).

Check
Check the details for cracks and damage.
Check the condition of the channel passage of air, water jacket and fittings vacuum hoses. Clean if necessary
Using Rulers and feeler gauge, measure the warping of mating plane intake manifold.
Standard value: 0.15 mm.
Limit: 0.20 mm.

Setting
Replace the intake manifold gasket and install a new intake manifold in place.
Tightening torque fixing the intake manifold:
bolts - 15-20 Nm;
Nuts - 30-42 Nm.

Install fuel manifold with injectors (Fig. 2.183).

ATTENTION
Follow the correct installation of the seals nozzles.

Connect the harness connector at the fuel injectors. Replace the cover nozzles.
Set the rack intake manifold.
Tightening torque of the intake manifold mounting rack: 18-25 Nm.

Connect the fuel high-pressure hose (Fig. 2.184).
Connect the hose PCV and brake booster vacuum hose.
Connect the throttle body to the air hose.
Connect the cable of the accelerator pedal.
Connect the servo controller turns of idling and connector throttle position sensor.
