Connect the wire from the negative (-) terminals of the power supply voltage of 3 V to terminal 2 of the ignition coil. Then, check the condition of the circuit terminals 1 and 2 of the ignition coil when disconnected and connected from the terminal 3 of the ignition coil wire is positive (+) terminals of the power supply (Fig. 7.3).

Measure the resistance between the high voltage output and a spark plug wire to the ignition coil (Fig. 7.4).
Standard value: approximately 12.1 ohms.
