Removing and installing coolant temperature sensor

Withdrawal
Drain the coolant below the level of the sensor.
Disconnect the battery and temperature sensor connector

Remove the sensor (Fig. 2.155).

Setting
Apply thread sealant recommended sensor. Tighten the sensor regulated torque.
Sealant: Three Bond No. Loctite 262 or 1324N.
Tightening torque, coolant temperature: 20-40 Nm.
Connect the temperature sensor.
Connect the battery.
Fill the cooling system.
