Removing and installing the battery
You will need: the keys "10", "12". | | 2. Loosen the nut of a coupling bolt tip "mass" wire ... | 3. ... and disconnect the wire from the plug ?�-?� the storage battery. |
| | 4. Remove the protective cover from the tip of "plus" wire ... | 5. ... and loosen the pinch bolt nut, remove wire from terminal "+". |
| | 6. Remove the pressure plate mounting bolt and remove the plate. | 7. Remove the battery. |
8. Install the battery in the reverse order of removal. Before connecting the wires, strip the battery terminals and the inner surface of the tips of wires with fine sandpaper. Wires connect in reverse order, observing polarity. After connecting the wires to the terminals apply to the tips of wires and exposed surfaces of the terminals thin layer of grease Lithol-24 or similar (most preferably copper-bearing conductive grease). |
