Replacing bulbs
A WARNING Before replacing the bulbs in the headlights, lamps and other electrical equipment before repair disconnect a wire from the plug ?�-?� the storage battery. |
To replace the headlight bulbs, do the following.
NOTE Replacement bulbs for clarity, is shown in the removed lens unit. |
2. Disconnect a wire from the plug ?�-?� the storage battery ... |
| | ... 3. Turn the headlight cover anticlockwise ... | 4. ... and remove it. |
NOTE Shown left headlight lamp replacement. Lamps in the right headlight are arranged symmetrically, replace them similarly. |
| | 5. Remove the bulb from the wiring harness connector. | 6. Bring spring clamp from the hook on the reflector ... |
| | 7. Pull the lever, ... ... | 8. ... and remove the lamp head light. |
A WARNING Do not touch the bulb as halogen lamp heats up and grease stains will cause darkening of the bulb. Take the bulb of the flask only clean gloves or a clean cloth. If the lamp is still left grease stains, remove them with alcohol. |
9. Insert the new lamp into the reflector, replace the spring clamp lamp and connect the lamp connector harness. |
| 10. Turn the cartridge side light bulb counterclockwise and remove it from the lens unit. |
11. Remove from the bulb holder. |
12. Insert the cartridge and install a new lamp cartridge into place. |
13. Replace the cover lights. |
| | 14. Turn the bulb holder Indicator counterclockwise ... | 15. ... and remove it from the lens unit. |
| | 16. Turn the lamp counterclockwise ... | 17. ... and out of the cartridge. |
18. Install the new bulb in the socket and the cartridge in the lens unit. |
To replace the lamp in the fog lamp, proceed as follows. 1. Disconnect a wire from the plug ?�-?� the storage battery. |
| | 2. Squeeze the tabs ... | 3. ... and disconnect the connector harness. |
| 4. Turn the bulb holder anticlockwise and pull it out of the spotlight. |
A WARNING Do not touch the bulb as halogen lamp heats up and grease stains will cause darkening of the bulb. |
5. Install the lamp assembly with a cartridge in the reverse order of removal. |
To replace the lamp side indicator lamp, proceed as follows. 1. Disconnect a wire from the plug ?�-?� the storage battery. |
| 3. Remove the bulb from the socket. |
4. Insert a new bulb into the socket, and a cartridge in the case of the index. |
5. Install the side turn signal lamp in the reverse order of removal. |
To replace any bulbs in rear lamp cluster, do the following. 1. Disconnect a wire from the plug ?�-?� the storage battery. |
| | 3. Turn the bulb holder anti-clockwise ... | 4. ... and remove the cartridge from the lantern. |
| | 5. Click on the lamp needs to be replaced, turn it counter-clockwise ... | 6. ... and remove the bulb from the socket. |
7. When installing a new lamp tabs on the lamp should get into the slots on the cartridge. Then lock the lamp holder by turning it until it stops (90 ?�) clockwise. |
8. Set the items in reverse order. |
To replace the lamps in the rear fog light, proceed as follows. 1. Disconnect a wire from the plug ?�-?� the storage battery. |
| | 2. Turn the bulb holder anticlockwise and remove it from the rear fog light. | 3. Click on the lamp needs to be replaced, turn it counterclockwise and remove the bulb from the socket. |
4. Install parts in reverse order of removal. |
To replace the lamp license plate light, proceed as follows. 1. Disconnect a wire from the plug ?�-?� the storage battery. |
| | 2. Remove the two screws that secure the ... | 3. ... and remove the lamp diffuser. |
| 4. Remove the wedge base bulb from the socket. |
6. Install the parts in reverse order of removal. |
7. Similarly, replace the lamp in the second license plate light. |
To replace the lamp in an additional stoplight, proceed as follows. 1. Disconnect a wire from the plug ?�-?� the storage battery. |
| | | 3. Press the bulb, turn it counterclockwise and remove the cartridge (for clarity shown in the removed additional stoplight). |
4. Install parts in reverse order of removal. |
To replace the lamp in the front room lamp, proceed as follows. 1. Disconnect a wire from the plug ?�-?� the storage battery. |
| | 2. Pry the screwdriver ... | 3. ... and remove the lens room lamp. |
| 4. Remove the bulb from the socket. |
6. Install the ceiling diffuser. |
To replace the lamp in the central courtesy light proceed as follows 1. Disconnect a wire from the plug ?�-?� the storage battery. |
| | 2. Pry the screwdriver ... | 3. ... and remove the lens room lamp. |
| 4. Remove the bulb, breaking the force of the spring contacts. |
6. Install the ceiling diffuser. |
To replace the light bulb in the ceiling of the luggage compartment, proceed as follows. 1. Disconnect a wire from the plug ?�-?� the storage battery. |
| | 2. Press the lock ... | 3. ... and remove the bowl from the hole in the bodywork. |
| 4. Press the spring contact and pull out the lamp. |
5. Insert a new bulb in the ceiling. |
6. Install the parts in reverse order of removal. |
To replace the lamp lighting switch (lock) of ignition, proceed as follows. 1. Disconnect a wire from the plug ?�-?� the storage battery. |
| | | 3. Remove the bulb holder from the slot in the antenna block immobilizer. |
| | 4. Remove the lamp filter. | 5. Remove the bulb from the socket. |
6. Install the parts in reverse order of removal. |
