Removal and installation of the crankshaft position sensor



ATTENTION
When replacing the crankshaft position sensor, make sure there are no foreign objects, such as metal filings.
In the presence of chips or sawdust sensor output signal will be distorted due to variations in the magnetic flux, leading to deterioration of the engine management system.

Remove the battery cover.
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Use the following procedure to provide easier access.
Remove the bottom cover.

Remove the crankshaft position sensor

Remove the crankshaft position sensor (Fig. 2.342).
Install in the reverse order of removal.
The tightening torque of the crankshaft position sensor: 7,8-10,8 Nm.
