Removing and installing temperature sensor Engine coolant



Remove the battery cover.
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Use the following procedure to provide easier access.
Remove the air filter.
Take a side EGR pipe (by the intake manifold).
Drain the engine coolant.

Installing the special tool for removal of the coolant temperature sensor

Install the special tool on the coolant temperature sensor (Fig. 2.341).
Remove the coolant temperature sensor.
Replace the gasket.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
Tightening torque, coolant temperature: 15,7-23,5 Nm.
