Removing and installing the throttle position sensor



Remove the battery cover.
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Use the following procedure to provide easier access.
Remove the air filter.
Remove the air hose.

Remove the throttle position sensor (Fig. 2.343).
Make sure that the throttle is fully closed.
Set the throttle position sensor on the throttle tube.
Torque: 1.6-2.4 Nm.
Make sure that the throttle valve moves smoothly.
Connect the throttle position sensor.
Make sure that the voltage of the output signal of the throttle position sensor (PID WDS: throttle position) - in the normal range when the valve is open or closed.
If not correct, check the throttle position sensor.
